CECAR (Civil Engineering Conference in the Asian Region) is a major activity of ACECC (The Asian Civil Engineering Coordinating Council) held on a triennial basis started in 1998. The ACECC Sixteenth Executive Committee meeting in Sydney in 2008 has decided that the upcoming 6^th CECAR will be hosted by the Indonesian Society of Civil and Structural Engineers (HAKI). The 6^th CECAR will be held on August 20^th to 22^nd, 2013, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
